Writing for AstroWind in Zeku.
AstroWind is a Tailwind CSS template for websites and blogs, and the most-starred Astro theme on GitHub. Zeku opens it as it comes, with no setup, and it passed all eleven checks in Zeku's theme tests.
Checked , against the theme's own repository.
Opening it
AstroWind keeps its blog in src/data/post rather than src/content, and Zeku finds it there by reading the loader in AstroWind's content.config.ts. Open the project and the dashboard shows the Post collection with a card for each post.
The fields
The frontmatter form follows AstroWind's schema. title is the one required field. publishDate and updateDate get date pickers, excerpt is treated as the post's description for the cards and the SEO audit, tags suggests your other posts' tags, and draft is a checkbox. AstroWind's per-post SEO settings live in a nested metadata field, with its own title, description, robots and Open Graph values, and Zeku edits it as nested fields instead of one block of YAML.
A new post
New writes a post into src/data/post:
publishDate: 2026-10-06
draft: false
title: "Your title"
excerpt: ""
image: ""
tags: []Images
Most of AstroWind's sample posts take their covers from Unsplash addresses, and Zeku shows a thumbnail for a remote cover as well as a local one. A cover you paste or drop onto image is described first, then saved in public/images and written as /images/your-cover.png, which AstroWind serves as it is. A photo pasted into a post is saved beside it and linked as ./your-photo.png. Both folders are settings in Settings > Content, if you'd rather use src/assets/images like the theme's ~/assets/images/ example.
Seeing your page
AstroWind puts posts at the root of the site by default, so a post's address is /your-file-name, and that's the address the dashboard cards, Copy live URL and the site preview use. The preview runs AstroWind's own npm run dev: Zeku uses whichever package manager your project's lockfile names.
