Writing for Fuwari in Zeku.
Fuwari is a soft, colorful blog theme, and one of the most popular Astro themes on GitHub. Zeku opens it as it comes, with no setup, and it passed all eleven checks in Zeku's theme tests.
Checked , against the theme's own repository.
Opening it
Open your Fuwari project's folder, and the dashboard shows Posts, with a card for each post, and Spec, which holds the About page's text. Fuwari still declares its collections in the older src/content/config.ts, and Zeku reads that file the same way it reads content.config.ts.
The fields
The frontmatter form follows Fuwari's schema: title and published are required, published and updated get date pickers, tags and category suggest what your other posts use, draft is a checkbox, and image shows the cover's thumbnail. The dashboard cards show each post's date and description.
A new post
New writes a post into src/content/posts:
title: "Your title"
published: 2026-10-06
draft: false
description: ""
image: ""
tags: []
category: ""Images
Fuwari keeps a post's cover next to it, as image: ./cover.jpg, and Zeku does the same: drop an image on the image field, describe it, and it's saved beside the post and written as ./your-cover.png. A photo pasted into a post goes beside it too. A post kept in its own folder, like guide/index.md, keeps its images in that folder.
What Fuwari renders
Fuwari's configuration adds admonitions such as :::note and :::tip, GitHub-style > [!NOTE] blocks, and math, and Zeku draws all of them in live preview, as Fuwari's own Markdown Extended Features post shows. Settings > Content lists the syntax Zeku found in your astro.config.mjs and the plugin behind each, and takes a correction if you change your setup.
Seeing your page
The site preview runs Fuwari's own pnpm dev beside the editor and shows the post at /posts/your-file-name/, the address the cards and Copy live URL use too.
