Writing for Starlight in Zeku.
Starlight is Astro's own framework for documentation sites. Zeku opens it as it comes, with no setup, and it passed all eleven checks in Zeku's theme tests.
Checked , against the theme's own repository.
Opening it
Open your Starlight project's folder, and Zeku recognizes Starlight and treats its docs collection the way Starlight does. A page's address is its slug field when it has one, and otherwise its path in the collection, at the root of your site, which is what the cards, Copy live URL and the site preview all use.
The sidebar, on the dashboard
The dashboard's sort menu adds Sidebar, which orders pages the way your sidebar config in astro.config.mjs shows them, groups you list by hand and folders Starlight fills in with autogenerate alike. Each card shows a page's sidebar.label beside its title, its sidebar.badge in the badge's color, and a mark when sidebar.hidden keeps it out of the sidebar.
The fields
Zeku knows Starlight's own frontmatter, like sidebar, template, hero and draft, even before you run astro sync. Running it once still helps: it gives Zeku the exact types of any fields you add with extend. A new page starts with what Starlight needs:
title: "Your title"
description: ""
draft: falseNew asks which section the page goes in, and on a multilingual site which language.
Asides and components
Asides written as :::note, :::tip, :::caution and :::danger render in live preview, with a custom title as :::tip[Title] and a custom icon as :::tip{icon="heart"}. The icon comes from your own Starlight install, so it's the one your site shows. Starlight's components, such as Aside, Badge, Card, LinkCard, Steps, Tabs and FileTree, are in the MDX insert menu, and Zeku adds each one to your import from @astrojs/starlight/components.
